Privacy policy
Memorae is built from very personal things: stories, photos, voices. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us, and how long we keep it.

The short version
- We collect only what we need to make, deliver and support your Memorae.
- Your story, photos and recordings are private to you and the team making your Memorae.
- We never see your card details. Payments go through Flutterwave.
- When a Memorae’s year ends, its pages and files are removed.
- We measure visits to our pages with Google Analytics. It never includes your story or account forms.
What we collect
Your account, your order, your story, and how the site is used.
- Account: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, profile photo, and how you sign in.
- Orders: what you bought, the date, the price and the payment status (not your card details).
- Your story: answers, memories, photos, videos, voice notes and documents you send.
- Story calls: the booking, and, with your consent, the recording and transcript.
- Corrections and messages you send us, and comments guests leave on a Memorae.
- Usage: which public pages are visited, through Google Analytics.
Why we use it
To make your Memorae and keep you informed. Nothing else.

- to confirm payments and prevent fraud
- to send updates you’ve chosen: review ready, delivery, reminders before your year ends

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use your story to advertise.
Who helps us
Trusted services that store, send or process data for us.
- Supabase: accounts and database
- Vercel: runs the website
- Cloudflare R2: private storage for videos, songs and photos
- Flutterwave: payments and payouts
- Resend and WhatsApp: emails and messages you’ve chosen
- Cal.com: booking and recording story calls
- OpenAI: helps the team draft your story from a call transcript; a person checks every draft
- Cloudflare Workers AI: screens comments guests leave, so unkind ones wait for the owner
- Google and Facebook: sign-in, and Google Analytics for visits to our pages
Each one only gets what it needs for its job.
How long we keep it
A Memorae’s content goes when its year ends. Your account stays until you close it.
- Memorae pages, videos, songs and share pictures: removed when its year ends, unless you renew.
- Story materials: kept while we make and host your Memorae, then removed with it.
- Account details: kept until you ask us to close your account.
- Payment records: kept as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
See, correct, download or delete your information.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, get a copy, or have it deleted. Write to support@getmemorae.online. You can change which updates you get in Settings.
Keeping it safe
Private storage, signed links that expire, and two-step sign-in for our team.
Media is kept in private storage and opened with links that expire. Our team signs in with a second step, and every change they make is logged.
Children
Accounts are for adults. A Memorae can be about a child, made by an adult.
You must be 18 or over to have an account. If you make a Memorae about a child, you confirm you’re their parent or guardian, or have their permission.
Visitor analytics
We count visits with Google Analytics. Never your story.
Memorae uses Google Analytics on its public pages and Memorae websites to count visits, pages, rough countries and devices. It’s part of how we run and improve Memorae, so it’s always on, and it uses Google Analytics cookies on those pages. By using Memorae you agree to this. Account and story forms are never tracked, and advertising features are switched off.
